range smite bug

I'm not sure if this was a bug but its starting to get really really annoying. The bug is that range attacks drain prayer at the same rate that smite does and when the ranger has smite on its like they have smite on twice so half of what they hit is removed from prayer I first noticed this when the server came out and it seemed like I was getting smited at level 34 which didn't make sense but now its extremely annoying when I use claws or ags against a ranger it seems like people are figuring this out so they're all using range please fix this its really annoying and people are losing a lot of souls from this.

I have noticed an increased amount of rangers which is highly unusual since melee is more popular, we will look into this, and find a way to fix it.

This is probably a simple fix but might be a little tricky to find. I don't understand why someone would code this in or if its a bug. I'll be working on fixing this soon. : D

c cbow its supposed to drain pray just like maul hits through pray and people use range 2 prove they don't have 2 prod melee

Will fix it cuz of mad ppl, who loses their items. Cuz of smite.
